General Rules Empty General Rules

Basic Rules!
1. Please follow all the rules listed. Any violation of these rules will be cause for punishment! They are not intended to be idiot proof. That said, any stupid and completely moronic questions directed at me or anyone else will be swiftly ignored for all eternity. This includes:


Using more emoticons than a 14 year old girl on MySpace.

Blaming me because you somehow deleted your System32 folder.

Calling me a thief and reporting me to the FBI.

Asking me where babies come from.


2. Refrain from one-lining. An ideal post should be at least a paragraph -- 3 to 5 sentences. If you're in a private topic and it is agreed upon, then one-lining is allowed.

3. You may not use unapproved characters/items/abilities in topics. Also note that anything approved after a thread has already started also cannot be used or trained in that thread.

4. Mild cursing is allowed, but please refrain from having an all out curse-fest. There are people who would rather not have to read it.

5. Racial discrimination is not allowed. We accept everyone! Therefore if you do it you will be banned!

6. Sexual harassment is likewise not tolerated! If you’re told to knock it off and you don’t you will be banned! Immediately.

7. Respect people while in that Chatbox, this includes the Staff! The Chatbox is a privilege! Disrespecting people in the chatbox will result in penalties: Verbal Warning, Warning, Suspension, and then Ban.

8. When an admin says no; we mean no. End of story. Unless you feel you have a valid reason to bring up a case for improper denial or administrative abuse; then drop the subject and move on. If you do however feel that you have a case; then contact the other staff members; present your argument and any proof you have; and wait for a decision. Proof must be given in the form of screencaps of the chatbox, topic posts, or IM/PM conversations. Without valid proof; your appeal will be dismissed. DO NOT ABUSE THIS. If you do, the punishments will be severe.

9. If you find you have issues with Staff, Admins, or players in general; whether the issue be with them personally, or something they have created; then please address these issues via PM. Contact either the user or someone on staff; bring up your grievance, and we shall move from there. Do NOT start fights in the chatbox. Do not make the user/staff member's life on site a living hell by constantly antagonizing them. Admins are not gods; if you have a problem, contact the lower staff or a different admin. We have a system of checks and balances within the staff to keep power abuse to a minimum. The point of this site is to have fun; not to have to deal with insufferable dicks that can't act older then 5 years old. We're not your babysitters; don't treat us that way.

10. If a staff member is taking official time off; especially in cases of medical leave; DO NOT BADGER THEM TO WORK. We do not take time off lightly; it is only used when it is absolutely needed. Off-duty and time off are NOT the same thing. Off Duty work is done at staff discretion; but you should not abuse the privilege. If a staff member is taking time off; then do NOT ask them to moderate UNLESS it is a significant emergency; or they state that they are willing to help. If you badger staff that has asked you to stop; you will receive an immediate chatban. Continue, and you will find your account banned.

Thread Rules!

1. Do not post in dead topics unless you were previously involved in one, then you may attempt to revive it.

2. You’re only allowed to have up to 5 topics at any given time. To start a new topic past that number you must first close one you’re already in.

3. No currency farming. This means you are not allowed to enter into a topic and leave within two posts.

4. 4. Follow posting order! This means taking turns. You must wait for everyone else who had joined the topic to post before you can post again. This is non negotiable. This goes for every single thread unless an ADMIN says otherwise. Even voting cannot change this rule despite all active participants being in agreement. It is essentially, absolute, to keep the confusion down. If you are in a thread that someone has gone in-active and 48 hours have passed then you may skip that person until it is their turn again, then you may skip them again if they continue to prove to be inactive.

5. Topic Titles are not to be changed. Other than switching the topic from Open to Closed upon finishing the thread, you are not allowed to edit it, including changing the people who it says are allowed or not allowed in the topic.

6. Your username must be the same as your character name; no nicknames are allowed. This is to make it easier for staff to locate your applications if needed. Your alias is not the same as a nickname/username. Username is what you use to log into the site. That is what matches your character name. That is not something that anyone would have IC knowledge of unless you give it to them, or they've done the work IC to find out.

7. All images that are overly large to the point that they stretch the site MUST be resized. Spoilered or not; this is required. In general, if the image is more than 500p wide, resize it for safety sake. It's not difficult. If you have no idea how to do this, please contact staff. We'll happily resize the image for you, or direct you to where you can resize it yourself.

Chatbox Rules!

1. No Spamming!

2. No advertising in the chatbox!

3. Place images and long links in spoilers! This is to ensure the Chatbox doesn’t break. Failure to do this will result in warnings, and then if continued abuse happens a suspension or ban.

4. Respect each other! Discrimination of any form will NOT be tolerated.

5. Do not argue in the Chatbox. Whether this is with another member of a member of Staff it is not tolerated!

6. Five Minute Rule! This means that you must wait for 5 minutes upon logging into the Chatbox before you may ask any Staff member to look at any application. This also extends to having to wait 5 minutes upon Staff entering the Chatbox before you may ask them to look over anything. We take this rule very seriously and repeated violation will result in heavy consequences: Verbal Warning, Warning, Suspension, Ban. Because of SERIOUS badgering and abuse of this Five Minute Rule we have changed it to where you MAY NOT! make requests in the chatbox. Anything you need modded or fixed MUST be asked for here, at the Staff Request Thread. This rule MAY be changed back to the 5 minutes rule if and only if the badgering and abuse stops.

7. If you see trash talk or someone causing shit in a chatbox; click on Archives, scroll up to the start of it, or as far back into the argument as you can; and start copying it. Or, preferably, screencaps. Then alert an admin or moderator to the problem. Without chatlogs; we cannot do anything. Screencaps are preferred; however a textlog with timestamps will be accepted in a pinch.
